Abstract

This quantitative study investigates whether Islamic Grit (IG)—a faith-anchored construct rooted in patience, consistency, tawakkal, and sincerity—moderates the relationship between Learning Management System (LMS) Usability and learning outcomes. Using a non-experimental correlational design and PLS-SEM, the results indicate that LMS Usage Intention significantly predicts learning outcomes. However, Islamic Grit’s moderating effect was statistically insignificant (β = -0.026, t = 0.798, p > 0.05) despite a medium effect size (f² = 0.013). The unexpected result contributes to a novel framework integrating TAM with Islamic educational philosophy. Future exploration needs to test alternative pathways and contextual factors.
